'The Tenth Night' star joins 'Blue Whale'

The star of ifilm series 'The Tenth Night' Hossein Yari has joined Fereydoun Jeyrani's 'Blue Whale'.

Hossein Yari accepts the part in this new production while Leila Hatami, Mahour Alvand, Vishka asayesh and Farhad Aslani had already joined it as cast members.

Born in 1968, Yari started his career with stage acting. He, then, passed a one-year-course in the IRIB Dubbing Unit and worked as a voice actor.

He has acted in some feature films and won some awards but it was his role in 'The Tenth Night' (2002) that brought him nationwide fame.

ifilm viewers must also remember him from the series 'The Men of Angelos' (1998), 'Lighter than Darkness' (2000), 'Saint Mary' (2000), 'Dark Intelligence 1'(2009), 'Dark Intelligence 2' (2013).

The movie 'The World Upside-Down' (1997) in which he played the role of a chemical engineer also aired on ifilm.

Jeyrani's new series was firstly titled 'Telegram' which is now changed into 'Blue Whale'.

According to a media report shooting for this new flick will start soon.
